Senior Neurological Physiotherapist, Tim Nike, has joined the team at Physio Matters, expanding our ability to provide an expert and personalised physiotherapy service to our wide range of clients.
Tim provides adult and paediatric neurological physiotherapy. He has experience assessing and managing adults with varying neurological diagnoses, as well as treating children from birth to 19 years old who have complex neurological and physical disabilities and paediatric specific musculoskeletal/orthopaedic conditions.
He previously worked for Summerseat Physiotherapy Clinic and at Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, where his experience included musculoskeletal outpatients, wheelchair services, rapid response multidisciplinary team, intermediate care rehabilitation, and community neurological rehabilitation.
Tim said: “I enjoy meeting people and maintaining good relationships based around positive goals and forward-thinking explorative therapy. Working in close partnership with clients, their families, carers and professional colleagues is key to improving and maintaining quality of life.”

Tim has a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and a BSc (Hons) in Complimentary Medicine & Health Sciences, both from the University of Salford. He gained Foundation level with the Aquatic Therapy Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and with Halliwick Association of Swimming Therapy, and has undergone training in Assessment of Body Symmetry and Paediatric and Adolescent MSK Disorders.
Tim is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council and is a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
When not working, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, two young sons and fostered child, cycling, cooking, and has started a home music recording studio.
