Physio Matters has raised £270 for the Stroke Association’s ‘Make May Purple’ fundraising campaign by raffling an amazing Purple Hamper full of purple goodies.
The campaign was run in May to mark Stroke Awareness Month 2021. The Prize Hamper contained Sipsmiths Bramble Gin Liqueur, bottles of beer, luxury chocolate cookies, a lavender and geranium aromatic candle, tea, coffee and more…all in purple! Tickets were available for £5 each from a dedicated JustGiving page, with all proceeds going directly to the Stroke Association to support vital stroke research. 50 tickets were sold within one week to reach the target of £250, which then increased to £270 with Gift Aid.
The Prize Draw was held on Wed 2nd June 2021 at our Spotlight Webinar. The lucky winner was Janet Penny, Case Manager and Director of Link Case Management. Physio Matters Clinical Director, Colin Green, presented the hamper to Janet at her offices in Cheadle.
Following the fundraising efforts, the Stroke Association sent a nice ‘thank you’ card for the money raised by the raffle.
A big thank you also from Physio Matters to everyone who bought a ticket to help raise funds for this worthwhile cause.
